DULUTH, MN – February 12th, 2007 – Ascendview, LLC, a leader in IT management and automation software, announces the addition of the Log Analyzer into release 2.5 of the WildMetrix™ enterprise monitoring software. WildMetrix™ now offers the ability to analyze event log, syslog and IIS web log. The new module allows users to trend log data across their enterprise or within user-defined logical groups giving WildMetrix™ the unique ability to pin point discrepancies in an otherwise normal operating environment. In addition, Ascendview has redesigned the WildMetrix™ console making it more efficient for the end-user. The changes include the property layout updates, a refurbished menu system and increased work space.

The new Log Analyzer ships with a library of pre-built log filters that can be imported as WildMetrix™ continues to add to its “Out-of-the-Box” solutions. The library includes filters for applications (MS Exchange, SQL Server), security events (Object Access, Log-on failures, etc), Syslog (errors, emergency, etc) and Web Log (protocol errors, client errors, etc). Users can save customizable searches within a defined date range using the filter library as a template as well as make adjustments to how the data is displayed giving them the log information they need with a single click.

Additionally, the WildMetrix™ console (GUI) was redesigned in this latest release as Ascendview continues to be committed to delivering the most intuitive solution in the market. Inherently, this lowers the learning curve for users operating WildMetrix™ in the field. With the new menu system, properties interface and increased work space, WildMetrix™ capitalizes on ease of use. Now, most of Wildmetrix’s features are a click away.
