WildMetrix Live Alert Notifications and Management
Scalable Alert Management for Network Operations.
The powerful Alert Management of WildMetrix™ enables another proactive approach to
managing complex system infrastructures. Alerting Rules are integrated with Monitoring
Policies and can be customized, or you can create your own. Alerts can be charted in
correlation with performance and log data for pinpointing problems and performing root
cause analysis. Different severity levels are available for each alerting rule, and
multiple rules can be created for a single counter. Alert notifications are generated
and sent to any user-specified destination including the WildMetrix™ console, email, and
text messaging through the use of Alert Publications and User Subscriptions.

Publications |
Publications are the easy way to manage the collection of different alert notifications.
Each can be created based on device roles, functionality and/or user responsibility.
Subscriptions |
Users can subscribe to different publications and be notified by different methods of
contact for each severity level.
Scheduled Black-Outs |
Scheduled black-outs allows specific alerts to be shut off when they are expected to
occur and do not require to be managed.
Device Management Mode |
Device management mode allows a user to turn off all alerting on a specific device for
maintenance of that device. Metrics data continues to be collecting in this mode.
